The California Guaranteed Health Care for All Act

AB 1900, also known as CalCare, would enact a comprehensive framework for a single-payer health care coverage system in California at a time when California voters are ready to champion transformational changes in health care.

CalCare activists have driven hundreds of calls to state legislators in support of this bill to establish universal, single-payer health care for all California residents

Volunteers have delivered packets of key CalCare materials to 54 different district offices of assembly members across the state.

CalCare activists held a successful rally, cosponsored by more than 20 allied organizations, outside the 2026 California Democratic Party Convention to show California Democrats how popular and necessary this bill is to addressing our health care crisis.
